Meet Dr. Maria Shuster (Wexford, PA)

Dr. Shuster completed her undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Psychology. She went on to attend Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she earned a Bachelor of Science and her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2012.

Dr. Shuster became fascinated by eyes once she started wearing glasses and contact lenses at a young age. She held onto that passion of wanting to become an optometrist throughout her many years of education until it became a reality.

Dr. Shuster manages patients with dry eye, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetes. In addition to routine eye care, for all ages, for glasses and contact lenses, she also con-manages patients in the post-op period for LASIK and cataract surgery.
